Our History


 1915

The first Christian Society meeting is held.


1917

The Society of Christian Instruction is incorporated, teaching K-8.


1917

 Baldwin Christian School is built on land given by H. J. Doornink. Dedicated on Sept. 3.


1919

The Hammond Christian School is built.


1935

The Ebenezer Society (Mother's Club) is started.


1954

Hammond Christian School and Baldwin Christian School merge to form one Christian school in Baldwin, Wisconsin.


1954

A two room school is constructed and dedicated on land purchased from D. C. Voskuil at the cost of 19,005.77 dollars.


1968

Baldwin Christian School 50th anniversary.


2005

Dokime (9-12th grade) is started at the Hokanson home.


2008

The BCS constitution is amended so that classical education is taught. Dokime (9-12th grade) and BCS combine. K-12 is now taught!


2013

A modular expansion unit is purchased and installed next to the main school building.


2020

Neighboring land is purchased, and the property is expanded.


2020

Main building is remodeled after being flooded by over 8 inches of rain destroying the basement and main level flooring.


2021

Funds are anonymously donated for a new concrete parking lot.
