Where is the school located?
The school is located in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin, one mile north of the Village of Baldwin, on Highway 63. The school is within reasonable driving distance of the towns of Hudson, River Falls, New Richmond, Roberts, Menomonie, and Glenwood City.
What grades does the school offer?
The school offers preschool and grades K-12.
How many students are currently enrolled at the school?
We currently have around 69 students enrolled at BCS.
Is the school associated with a particular church?
No, the school is owned and operated by the "Society for Christian Instruction." BCS families represent more than a dozen different area churches.
May my children ride the bus to BCS?
Students living in the Baldwin-Woodville school district may ride to BCS on buses provided by the public school system. If you live outside the school district you may drop off your child at the nearest bus stop just inside the school district boundary. Contact the school system’s transportation office for more information.
Besides classroom instruction, what other activities does BCS offer students?
BCS students enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year, such as field trips, fundraising events, short term missions projects, school plays, and musical performances. The high school students produced a short film based on one of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales and the upper grades took a trip to the Creation Museum near Cincinnati.
Are athletics offered at the school?
All students receive regular physical education instruction. An archery unit is offered in the spring and fall with an archery team that competes 4-6 times per year. Additional extracurricular activities, such as band and sports, may also available through the public school system.
Does the school serve a hot lunch?
