“The name of the Lord is a strong tower”

April 21, 2008

Reminder: School starts at 8:10am.

Ebenezer is planning a garage sale on May 16, in Woodville, at the home of Jeanne Curtis.  As you begin cleaning out closets, items that are still in good condition may become someone else’s treasure at the Ebenezer garage sale.  Items can be brought to the school or taken to the home of Dana Swanson.  Items can also be brought to the Curtis home the night before the sale.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Please remember that ALL students Pre-K through 8th grade are REQUIRED to have two pairs of shoes, one set for inside and one set for outside.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and everyone who had a part in helping out with the school program.  We hope all of you enjoyed the performance and we appreciate all the effort the students put into it.  Great Job!

The lost & found is filling up again with the changing of the seasons.  Please check the green bin by the upper grade room for any of your student’s missing items.

The pledge sheets for the Bike Hike were sent home on Monday, April 7.

The next Parent Teacher Fellowship(PTF) will be Saturday, May 10, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm.  It will be roller-skating at Vision Quest in Menomonie.  The address is N4439  440th  Street and the e-mail address is www.vqfun.com.  The school will need forty people to attend this private party, so please call Dana Swanson at 698-2684 to pre-register.  The cost is $4 per person and this includes admission and skate rental.  For $6 you can also get two slices of pizza and a small pop.  They also offer rentals of blades, scooters, and gear.  For the little children, there is an inflatable castle to  play in.  This outing is for the entire school, Preschool through eighth grades. Last year was great fun and we hope to have a good turnout again this year.  Thank you & God Bless

Noon recess volunteers:  The time is 11:35am to 12:40pm and includes monitoring the lunchroom and watching over the students during recess after lunch. School News:

     *Preschool news:

**This week we will be learning the letter L and the number 6.  Have the children practice writing them on lined paper. Remember to praise them for their effort.  Our animal of the week is a lamb and we will discuss how Jesus is the Lamb of God.  I will have projects that I will need volunteers to help with in future weeks.  If you would like to help, please let me know.  Preschool graduation will be on May 20 at 6:30pm.  Have a great week!   Mrs. Buldra
