“The name of the Lord is a strong tower”

November 12, 2007

Reminder: School starts at 8:10am.

Attention Everyone: There will be no Home Bulletin next week due to Thanksgiving.  If you have any news or announcements for the following week, Monday the 26th, please contact me or leave the information in the HB Box in the school office by Wednesday, November 21st.  I would appreciate it.  Penny Engel 684-5976

Craft/Bake Sale – November 17th is the annual Bake Sale.  Each family is asked to bring at least 2 baked goods for the Bake Sale Table.  We would like the items to be wrapped in festive décor with the baked items labeled as to what they are.  Snack items such as puppy chow, Chex Mix, and caramel corn in single serve packages are big sellers as are Christmas cookies and breads.  Please do not bring plain brownies or chocolate chip cookies.  You may drop off your baked items at the school on Friday, November 16 or at the home of Erica Wahlquist.  If you have any questions, please call Erica W. 684-5863.  Also, parents please look for a sign up sheet, which is coming home with the students.  Even if you do not belong to Ebenezer, please donate some time or food items for the lunch served during the sale.  All the money raised by Ebenezer benefits the school and our children.

Anyone who is selling Beef Jerky, the orders need to be turned in by November 13.  The cost of each case is $39 and the profit on a case is $39.  All the profit will be applied to your tuition.  Call Wendy Jacob 684-5988 or Jane Raihala 796-2178 with any questions.

***Parents you should have received a sheet listing all of the items BCS collects to raise extra money for the school.  Tell your family and friends and ask them to save these items for our school.

Noon recess volunteers:  The time is 11:35am to 12:40pm and includes monitoring the lunchroom and watching over the students during recess after lunch. Any questions or if you would like to volunteer, call Mike or Karen Hollabaugh at 796-2659 or email at rntrucker@yahooo.com  (note this is a new address).
