“The name of the Lord is a strong tower”

November 5, 2007

Reminder: School starts at 8:10am.

Cure Tuberculosis is this year’s mission project.  The school will start with this mission project on Wednesday, October 31, and go through Tuesday, November 20.   The class that raises the most funds will earn a special class pizza party.

Craft/Bake Sale – November 17th is the annual Bake Sale.  Each family is asked to bring at least 2 baked goods for the Bake Sale Table.  We would like the items to be wrapped in festive décor with the baked items labeled as to what they are.  Snack items such as puppy chow, Chex Mix, and caramel corn in single serve packages are big sellers as are Christmas cookies and breads.  Please do not bring plain brownies or chocolate chip cookies.  You may drop off your baked items at the school on Friday, November 16 or at the home of Erica Wahlquist.  If you have any questions, please call Erica W. 684-5863.  Also, parents please look for a sign up sheet, which is coming home with the students.  Even if you do not belong to Ebenezer, please donate some time or food items for the lunch served during the sale.  All the money raised by Ebenezer benefits the school and our children.

***Parents: you should receive a sheet listing all of the items BCS collects to raise extra money for the school.  Please note the totals for the 2006-2007 listed on the sheet.  Tell your family and friends and ask them to save these items for our school.  Please keep and read this sheet for more details & future reference.

Noon recess volunteers:  The time is 11:35am to 12:40pm and includes monitoring the lunchroom and watching over the students during recess after lunch. Any questions or if you would like to volunteer, call Mike or Karen Hollabaugh at 796-2659 or email at rntrucker@yahooo.com  (note this is a new address).
