Cure
Tuberculosis is this year’s
mission project. TB attacks the lungs
and is highly contagious. Treatment
takes about 6 months and the medicines cost as little as $15. During the course of treatment, the ministry
partners build relationships that enable them to share the gospel in hostile
environments. The school will start with
this mission project on Wednesday, October 31, and go through Tuesday, November
20. It will once again be a class
project. The class that raises the most
funds will earn a special class pizza party.
There will be more details to come.
*** The Harvest Party will be
November 2. The children will
be building scarecrows and taking a hayride.
There will be refreshments after the hayride. Room Moms please contact the teachers for
coordinating snacks & drinks.
Parents please make sure the children are dressed for the weather &
the hayride that day. If you are
available to come to school and help with this activity, it would be greatly
appreciated.
*FYI-Mrs.Wahlquist will be on
medical leave for 4-6 weeks. If you
would like to help her in any way, such as meals, please contact her sister, Karrie at 684-4518.

the children to use around the room during their reading time. If anyone has either of
