Reminder:
School starts at 8:10am. Classes would like
to go outside immediately to say the pledge and get school started. Therefore, do not park near the
flagpole and make sure you get the child to school on time.

For
those of you who are selling the candy bars, the money needs to be turned in on Monday
October 22.
A
meal deal is now available for hot lunch everyday.
*** If anyone would like to
have a piano for FREE, please contact Kurt Swanson 698-2684.
School Health: If your child has
had any additional vaccinations, please send the information to the school
office, attention Karen H. Also, with
the beginning of school comes an increase incidence of head lice. Please encourage your children not to share
hats, hoodies, combs, and brushes. If your child should
contract lice, treatment directions are available in the school office or
contact Karen H. 796-2659.
***Attention, *** the
school received a donation of paper for scrap booking and crafts. It was kept in 3 bins in the storage
room. If anyone knows where it went or
what project it may have been used for, please contact the teachers.
Noon recess volunteers: The
time is 11:35am to 12:40pm and includes monitoring the lunchroom and watching
over the students during recess after lunch. Any questions or if you would like

Preschool News: Thank you to everyone who help with
the field trips to the apple orchard. We
had a great time.
1st & 2nd grades news:
We
are planning on doing our own rendition of Grant Woods’ “American Gothic”. We would like parents and grandparents to
send somber looking pictures of themselves. The pictures will be returned unharmed.
6th – 8th grades: The students have
an assignment notebook. Parents, if you
would, please check this daily and help your child keep track of up coming
assignments and daily work. Thank you.
