Reminder:
School starts at 8:10am.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Graduation for the eighth graders has been moved
to May 22. Please note this on your

Ebenezer is planning a garage sale in the
spring. As you begin cleaning
out closets, items that are still in good condition may become someone else’s
treasure at the Ebenezer garage sale.
Items can be brought to the school or taken to the home of Erica Wahlquist. Your
support is greatly appreciated.
A Scrap Booking Day is being planned
for Saturday, February 2 from 9:00am to 5:00pm, at the Christian Reformed
Church. The cost will be $20 and lunch
will be included. If you would like to
register for this or if you have any questions, call Kelli
Lorentz at 698-4690.
The teachers would like to thank everyone (parents,
students, & school board members) for the cards, thoughts, prayers, and gifts during
the Christmas season. It was all truly
appreciated.
Noon recess volunteers: The
time is 11:35am to 12:40pm and includes monitoring the lunchroom and watching
over the students during recess after lunch. Any questions or if you would like
to volunteer, call Mike or Karen Hollabaugh
at 796-2659 or email at rntrucker@yahooo.com (note this is a new address).

School News:
An ice skating outing is being planed
for all of the students on Wednesday, January 23rd, at 1:00pm. If your child does not have skates, please
let the school know. We need to know how
many students need skates and would like to find skates for everyone to
use. If you have extra skates, which you
could loan for that day please let us know.
There will be an all school play on April
18. The students received their parts on
January 9. Please help your child learn
their lines.
Preschool registration has begun. If you would like to enroll your child again
for the Fall Class of 2008, please let Erica Wahlquist
know as soon as possible. It will fill
up fast! Preschool students will need to bring old
Christmas and Birthday cards for a class project. Thank you to everyone who brought in milk
jugs. It was greatly appreciated.
Memory Verse:
“Trust
in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all
your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs
3:5-6
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
II Timothy 2:15
Grades 6-8
“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth. When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”
